At The Royal Silverdale we're passionate about serving fantastic locally sourced and seasonal produce.
After three years of extensive renovations and hundreds of thousands of pounds of investment The Holgate Family have re-opened The Royal Silverdale.
Sympathetically restored and beautifully designed The Royal combines country classic with simple luxury culminating in a light, spacious bar and restaurant. Now at the heart of Silverdale village we hope to welcome many locals and visitors.
Zoe and John Connor have been appointed as the new managers of The Royal pub in Silverdale on which they are already making their culinary mark. John’s aim is to bolster the gastro-pub's reputation with a menu accenting on Lancashire-sourced cuisine. Zoe meanwhile will be taking care of "front of house" at the popular village centre pub. The husband-and-wife team whilst at another local pub, won the prestigious Best Newcomer of the Year title in the Lancashire Life awards for which hundreds of other pubs throughout the county were eligible.
Our menu is an expression of Lancashire and Cumbria’s food culture and a showcase of the region’s best produce. Our menu uses local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, skilfully prepared by our chefs. This includes seafood from Fleetwood Docks, meat from Burrows of Silverdale and Teas and Coffees from Farrer’s of Kendal. Locally raised beef, lamb and poultry will feature – and John says his ambition is to keep the food miles down, and the quality high whilst still offering good value.
Well behaved dogs are permitted into The Royal downstairs only should you want to bring your furry friend along.
Zoe and John look forward to welcoming you to this gastro pub located in the heart of Silverdale Village. With good British Bistro style food with a large selection of drinks, from wine to real ale and liquors to coffees, The Royal stocks something for everyone.
