The Knott is the larger of the two cottages we offer and sleeps up to six people – whether you want to bring the whole family or simply spend a few days in the company of great friends, we have the space, the comfort and the luxury for you with this beautiful cottage.

One of the great things about The Knott (besides its fantastic location in the heart of Silverdale) is how spacious it is. It boasts three bedrooms – king-sized master bedroom, double-sized with ensuite toilet and twin bedroom – as well as a large living room with an open-plan kitchen and dining area, perfect for accommodating a large group.

The Knott comes fully equipped with modern appliances and comfortably luxurious furniture, as well as being styled with a beautiful décor. It also has a log burner and a DVD player, perfect for colder nights that beg for cosying up to the fire while watching something with the family.

In summer months, you can lounge on the six-piece furniture in your very own private garden while admiring the gorgeous views and sunsets over Silverdale.

The Knott comes with a parking spot as well, so you don’t have to stress about finding parking in Silverdale and lugging your belongings to the cottage.

You can also make use of the leisure facilities at Silverdale Holgates holiday park for free, which includes a swimming pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a steam room, a bowling alley and plenty of indoor and outdoor play areas for kids.

We recommend phoning ahead for accommodation, meals, and any other activity before setting off. The Knott (6 Guests) At The Royal in Silverdale, we have two inviting cottages situated right on our doorstep in the heart of the Silverdale village. These cottages, lovingly known as The Knott and The Pepper Pot, draw their names from famous landmarks in the area and are the perfect accommodation for families and friends looking to explore the beautiful Lancashire countryside.  The Knott, situated just a 5-minute walk from the beach, is the larger of the two cottages. It sleeps up to six people across three bedrooms. The rooms consist of one King-sized master bedroom, a double room, and a twin room. This spacious holiday cottage has a large living area. It is adjoined by a kitchen ideal for entertaining guests and preparing large family meals. You’ll also find a dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, and a large dining table all at your disposal.  The living area is ideal for relaxing after a long hike or day out. The log burning stove adds ambience and warmth while the comfortable leather furniture, Wifi and television mean you can get access to your favourite Netflix series when you feel like having some downtime.  The main bathroom comes fitted with a bath and a shower as well as an accompanying downstairs toilet.
